  • How do I clean my fridge seal?

Over time, your fridge seal can build up gunk and black mould around the folds and outer edges. A simple cleaning solution is to combine baking soda and vinegar to use with a toothbrush and a damp piece of cloth. Scrub the seal using the mixture, with the toothbrush and wipe with the damp cloth.

  • What are some signs that I need my fridge seal replaced?
    • Build-up of ice & moisture
    • Fridge door not closing properly
    • Broken, split or mouldy seals
    • Fridge running excessively
    • Higher than usual power bills
  • Do I have to turn off my fridge or freezer when having my seals replaced?

No. Simply remove any built-up ice or moisture around the seal before we arrive. Our technicians can easily replace the seal with the motor still running so you don't have to worry about losing any perishable items.

  • Does my electricity bill increase if my seals are broken?

Yes. Cracked, broken or faulty seals simply do not keep the fridge or freezer closed. This makes the motor work twice as hard, therefore using more electricity. Your fridge will work more efficiently if your seals are fitted correctly.

  • Can I replace the seal myself?

Although you can purchase and replace the seal yourself, we highly recommend against it. Ensure you have complete peace of mind by calling our expert team to handle the installation.
